No, I believe it's far from DMG images.

I've updated the app, now it can extract Payload 'pbzx' inside such images

One just has to add .pbzx extension to the Payload file

No, the app is only for the Apple hardware. Sorry.

Not sure, maybe they did something wrong with the sensor connector. Did you try to reset SMC?

The SMC gives only only on 2 cores. Using another API (Intel) it's possible to get extended information, but we're not planning this at the moment.

When the fan begins to spin, do you see this change in the app? Or is it always displaying 0 rpm ?

ODD fan is responsible for cooling down GPU. There was a temp sensor connected to the optical drive. You must have forgotten to connect it back to the SSD.

I'd put HDD fan to the min value, try leaving others on Auto

Looks like it's the first mac model in more than 10 years when Apple changed SMC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_Management_Controller) specs.  They use new 'flt' type for smc key where the known 'fp78' was expected.  I couldn't fine anything related to this ...
