Interesting. I wonder if my SSD is impacting something here (since the other disk most likely produced non-empty responses to the queries above).

Yes, the pop-up stated only Apple hardware was supported and the MFC app refused to start. I was just curious about this determination. A few other diagnostic details. [1] The same version of MFC ran on the OS X 10.7 partition of this drive, just not the BootCamp / Win7 side. No errors or complaints...
