Yes I think the same thing, i tried everything from the outside.
From the font i cleaned the inside screen besel and there was a lot of black dust.
the inside ventilation must be clogged sort of.
I will schedule a full cleaning at the dealer.
this is not a friendly machine to tear down.

Yes, i will clean the inside (this is obviously the best advice ever) about "smc fan control", i tried it, i thought is was properly removed, i will check again. when i am back home i will post you the data of the second mac (i think this other one is even more clogged in dust) and this on...

PRAM and SMC both reset then new startup then launch Macs Fan Control then set ODD and HDD fans up in order to make the mac not crash from overheating. boinc running for full load test (this imac seem to run stable like this but this is very strange behavior) this mac was unstable earlier using fina...

Hello, i have two iMac 27-inch, Late 2009 Maveriks 10.9 Build 13A603 2,8Ghz Core i7 one is correctly increasing cpu fan speed on full load, (now 4200 rpm as i speak) it runs perfect. the other one is not increasing its cpu fan speed, (i see 2092 rpm --BUG-- will soon overheat if i don't quit the app...
