Re: Crash
Crashes July 28 and July 31 on a 2011 Mac Mini, but I think MFC has had an update since then. I'll keep watching.

spindump and wakeup?
Don't know if this is a Mac problem or a Fan Control problem, but I'm seeing it a lot: 7/30/14 6:25:09.000 AM kernel[0]: process MacsFanControl[1311] caught causing excessive wakeups. Observed wakeups rate (per sec): 377; Maximum permitted wakeups rate (per sec): 150; Observation period: 300 seconds...

Feature Request: Collect readings with time
collect numbers/times/settings to graph temperature trend Give us a collection -- tab delimited text would be fine -- listing which sensor and fan speed-temperatures are selected and what the sensor readings are for a useful span of time, like 5 or 10 minutes. I find (Mini, 2011) it's fairly easy to...

Re: Top recommended fan speed for HOT Macbook Pro and setting
Repeating the question -- does anyone know the layout of the sensors well enough to say what best tracks the GPU? And what best tracks the builtin graphics? I understand the advice that I can "play with" different sensors. But I hope someone actually has systematically done that, or else h...

Re: Top recommended fan speed for HOT Macbook Pro and setting
A plea for others with hot MacBookPro machines -- which sensors are best for choosing between the two different graphics processors? I can "play with" the choices but too many variables are involved -- the machine may do something different while I'm changing sensor choices and fan speeds....
