How to make fans kick in sooner?
Hello. With my retina macbook pro, mid 2015, 15", i've noticed it gets very warm and the fans remain quiet. What I would like to do is simply make it a bit more responsive. I wish it would spin a bit more fast before getting too hot. So for instance instead of going from 2000 to 5000+ only when...

Yeah it's there. Trigger: At log on Details: At log on of any user Status: Enabled. Even though, no autorun. However, I did spotted a weird setting under the Condition tab. It says "start the task only if pc is on AC power". And I cant change that, it's grayed out. Why wouldnt we want macf...

Win 8.1.1 - No Autorun at all
No matter what I do, it won't autoron. With windows 7 everything was fine. I even tried ataching the app to the registry startup. The autorun setting is enabled. However, when I checked the startup folder, theres no icon there. Any ideas? Macs Fan Control 1.1.11, MacBookPro9,1, Windows 8.1 Fans: Lef...

Re: Best settings for Macbook pro 15" mid-2012?
Hey Mr Steven, any inputs on that after I posted the specs? So the macbook itself acknowledges one fan for CPU and another FAN for GPU? You see any downsides in doing what I did? Both fans spinning should put the CPU temperature down faster and more efficiently right? And if CPU is usually warmer th...

Re: Best settings for Macbook pro 15" mid-2012?
Well I did some testing and so far Ive tied both fans to CPU PROXIMITY (since the heatsink goes through both the CPU and GPU chips and the CPU is the hottest). Starting at 35 C (so fans usually run at 3200 rpm~ idling) and max 50 C.
So far so good.
Id love to hear your settings guys!
