Yes. motherboard is GA-z87N-Wifi with i7-4770k with yosemite. I think its a fairly common setup for hackintosh users. This is a nice utility BTW. Feature Request: "CPU Package" on multicore processors
I think CPU Diode is measuring the temp of just core 1 on an i7. As shown in HWMonitor, there are a possibility of 4 cores to monitor and "CPUPackage" which always gives the highest of the 4 temps. I would like to be able to control my cpu fan temp based on that. I have attached a screen s...
