iBenny It's good that you've solved the issue. But it's not nice that we don't know which service (I beliebe it's a service, maybe an app) caused such problem PS. Reboot stuff here Sorry for the missed opportunity ! At least we have a fast solution but... a agree with you, pinpointing the troublema...

The solution came in this procedure : When I was asked to send a mirror image of my partition in order to debug the problem, I decided to clean it first of all of it's programs startups in the Startup folder and in the registry Run keys. I have the same problem since 1-2 weeks ! with UT 3.4.3. http://www.cjoint.com/doc/15_06/EFzuLdQ6gxh_UT.gif I have 3 OS XP Pro on the same pc on diff partitions and, on XPro2 (one user) and XPro3 (two users), I can track installations on the desktop, but not on a program repository C:\Documents ...

Yes, but then you have the picture (trace) up to that point. You have no info about what was added/changed during/after the reboot !

Hi, I was very :O: after a lengthy installation that ended with a "reboot" option to finish, that I selected, to find out that Uninstall Tool do not track installation trough the reboot process thus loosing all its tracking log for that installation :shock: ! Or am I wrong ? After the rebo...
