Bit Defender

15 Sep 2017, 13:03

I've tried to remove this programme, but Uninstall Tool still leaves bits behind which prevents 'Windows Defender' from working.

Please help.

I shall have to install the programme again in order to gain some protection on my computer.

Thankyou, I tried that, but there are still 'bits' left behind.

Anti-virus products can be sometimes tricky to get rid of completely. They use some undocumented ways to remain in a system.
Did you try their uninstall utility?

Yes I have.  Thankyou for your assist.  I think I'll have to wait until my computer warrants calling out the Mr fixit guy.
