iMac, Mavericks 10.9.5, Samsung 840.
Console reports this:
6/22/15 8:12:32.000 AM kernel[0]: process MacsFanControl[219] caught causing excessive wakeups. Observed wakeups rate (per sec): 783; Maximum permitted wakeups rate (per sec): 150; Observation period: 300 seconds; Task lifetime number of wakeups: 45781
Not sure if this is anything to be concerned about but thought I should post it. Perhaps MFC doesn't have to check so often.

Too many "wakeups" ?

Re: Too many "wakeups" ?
For a cooling app, it surely generates some additional heat. Please fix!
Average Energy Impact: 5,44 (it's the top on the list)
Running old dual core iMac, El Capitan.
To reduce heat, I already have an SSD but I can't turn off the freaking display even though I use an external one.

*bump*
Happening here as well on El Capitan.
A guru reply would be appreciated
