Disappearing app

Once in a while the MFC disappears from my Mac. A couple of days ago I was informed of update of the MFC. Everything went fine except today I noticed that the app is vanished. Again. Strange thing, and I believe it is going to happen again sooner or later.

No app on my Mac atm because it disappeared today. I'm gonna download it right now

EDIT: The version of the app I just installed is 1.4.0. Is it the latest version?

If it dissapears once again, please check Console for crash reports

I just discovered that the same thing happened here. The app was completely missing. I had just updated it yesterday, perhaps the day before. I just checked the Console after re-downloading it and running it several minutes ago, and I have this:

These would have been since re-downloading it. I have nothing else in the log that I can find related to this app.
