Version 1.4.0 - broken constant value control

As of version 1.4.0 when fan manual control setting is used the slider/value is stuck at a maximum of 5500 instead of the previous version where the value could be set to 6200 RPM. This is on a last generation 17" MacBook Pro.

Sorry here it is. FYI I am a professional developer. The app will SOMETIMES allow a maximum value of 6200 before, but keeps reverting without any particular pattern to a max of 5500 (below the allowable max).

The app is not able to change max rpm value. It's set by SMC. And it can be modified by SMC under certain conditions. Bad fan control apps can also do that

I have screenshot of the app with 5500 on Windows and 6200 on Mac on exactly the same machine (MacBookPro8,3 - 17inch, Early 2011)
