macs fan control on windows for non admin user

Post by james »

Hi I have macs fan control on mac pro 1.1 and it is great, thankyou.

However, I am unable to start the program at start automatically as a standard user.

Is there any easy way that you know of? Will you add this feature?

Many thanks

It's a planned feature. But you can try to schedule a task in Windows and make it run on system startup (before a user logins)

I would much rather run it as an unprivileged program rather than systemwide. Do you release sourcecode? Or have a github for the code?

I want to make a similar app to macsfancontrol for linux, and also could help with the install for all users feature, if pulls are availavable.
