10.11.5 is beta, not official release

Yes but the last version of your software worked fine with this 10.11.5 beta.

It doesn't work for me. As soon as I updated to 10.11.5, Macs Fan Control stopped working. It would even open. And when I re-download it, I get the same error as the O.P.

My fans are on full-blast as I type this and Macs Fan Control will no longer install.

I'm running:

OS X 10.11.5
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009)

Which version works for you?
https://github.com/crystalidea/macs-fan ... l/releases

Just tried to run the app on my 2 macs on 10.11.5, in both cases I get this:

For those with the same issue:

Okay, I got it to work. In order to do so, I needed to go into System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General and choose "Anywhere" under the "Allow apps downloaded from:" section. This is why the application wouldn't install and would give the warning that the original poster took the screen-shot of.

The update to 10.11.5 caused this reset for me. After you allow Macs Fan Control to be installed and be opened, you can change the security preference back to only allowing applications to be downloaded by "Mac App Store (and identified developers)" if you prefer.

To the CrystalIDEA Staff, thank you for the quick feedback.

The "Damaged & Can't Be Opened" error appears if the digital signature of the app is wrong. The digital signature of Macs Fan Control is OK. The provided workaround works, but anyway it's very strange for me (no idea at the moment).
