Hi, I'm quite furious about the forced updates.
Not only that Mac fan control stops working but the update always resets preferences.

By forced updates you are endangering HW (fans not spinning like they should) and wipe manually set preferences, why ?
Why we should update something that works ok ?

The update came right at the moment my router burned out and I had to wait for 3 days for a replacement router. This meant that I was running the laptop without the fans on. They do not work without macfancontrol under windows on my old mac. I am glad to hear you will adress the update problem.

Please ENOUGH wth the updates that FAIL every single time they are engaged with. PLEAE NO MORE FORCED UPDATES!!!!!!!! Why give notification of a forced update that errors out every time? Why the need to constantly update? Are Crystal Idea and Adobe Flash Player in bed together?
