How to make fans kick in sooner?

Post by dream3 »

Hello.

With my retina macbook pro, mid 2015, 15", i've noticed it gets very warm and the fans remain quiet.
What I would like to do is simply make it a bit more responsive. I wish it would spin a bit more fast before getting too hot.

So for instance instead of going from 2000 to 5000+ only when it is already melting, I need it to kick into 3000 and then linearly up to 6000.

Hope you guys can help me out. I have absolutely no idea how to start tackling this.

Thanks!

You should likely to use sensor-based control:
