Hi,

I promise I have looked far and wide for an answer to this, but I have not found it - and I am sure it is very basic. So apologies if this has indeed been answered many times.

Here is my question: if I set my fan RPM to a constant value, will it still increase if the temperature rises due to high traffic/capacity usage? I just want to make sure I am not giving my fans "beta blockers", and my graphic card ends up overheating after all because RPM stays at pre-set levels that may be higher than normally but still not high enough for peak times.

Thanks!
