Mac Fan Control BROKEN

Post by iMidget21 »

When I turned my computer on, my fans were just on full speed. I thought nothing much of it, I would just bring them down after I logged in, but when I logged in, the fan control wouldn't do anything! When clicking on the fans to adjust their speeds, it won't let me adjust it. It just says "Something is wrong - min/max fan values are equal (0). Please make sure to uninstall any other fan controlling software and reset SMC." I don't have any other fan controlling softwares, but it continues to say this. If anyone can help me, please post a reply ASAP because the fans stay at this constant speed the whole time!
