Just installed on Os X Mavericks developer preview 2. The app starts and the icon appears in the menu bar, but if I click it and select "Show Macs Fan Control", nothing happens. So, there is no way to set up the program - frustrating - I've been looking for something like this. Have been using Ultrafan on my MB Pro, but it is not being maintained and has much more limitations than your app. I hope you get it fixed - good luck!

On Mavericks Preview 5, the app basically works just fine, but the Menubar-Icon will only update when the application window is currently shown.
Once the app is 'hidden to menubar', the rpm-label won't update anymore and stay at the last value it had when the app was hidden.

Also, when the app starts minimized, it shows the icon instead of the rpm in the menubar (I set it to not show the icon at all, but only the rpm). Once I open the application window once, the icon will change to the rpm value.

Hi Steven,

I'm sorry for being late, but I've been busy lately and didn't notice your reply.
The link seems to be offline, could you PM me the build?

cheers
