DMG: btree error

Hi,

Trying to extract a DMG on a network drive. All windows.

08:15:06 - Extracting main DMG partition to a temporary file
08:15:06 - This can take some time - please wait...
08:15:07 - No volume found, looking for HFS+ file system...
08:15:07 - Error: failed to open main volume, btree error (?)

Dear sir,

Could you please give us the exact name of this dmg file?
Or better a link to download.

Hi,

It is 196 GB. My Mac died but they were able to save the entire windows directory which is in a dmg file.

Can you give us the way this DMG was created? Which command line or program?

Try converting DMG to ISO, rename the extensions from ISO to IMG and try to extract it.

Information about such DMG images is given in AnyToISO User Guide (available also online) in the 5.1 section (Supported Disk Images Formats)
