Automate SpeedyFox

Post by renman »

"The optimization process can take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour"

The process on my computer takes less than 5 seconds, when run once a week.

Why not add command line parameters so I can include it in Startup and run it daily? That way I'll never forget, and always have FF optimized.

In the alternative, have a user selectable option to Run every __ days

Command Line Syntax
---------------------------
You can run SpeedyFox from command line using the following syntax:

/default_profile - optimize the default profile (most often case, when you have just one profile)
/profile:<name> - optimize a certain profile (you can find its name in the SpeedyFox profiles list combo)
/profile:path - optimize custom profile located at <path> (great for portable versions of SpeedyFox)
