Different minimum RPM

Post by mkaz »

When I start up my Mac using OSX the minimum fan speed is normally 1500 rpm.
Unless it was previously booted as a PC (running Windows version of the your software), then it can be 2000 rpm or 1700 rpm.

Attached file has "copy technical info" from 1500, 1700, 2000 rpm results taken directly after startup

Minimum speed for this mac is 1500.
MFC never changes minimum fan speed thus it can be either other fan controlling software or Mac uses different settings for Windows & mac.
