Hello everyone.
So I have Windows installed on my 2012 MBP, running through Bootcamp. Macs Fan Control worked great up until just now, where my laptops fan for some reason decided to stick to 2785 RPM, causing massive lags everywhere.
I tried different settings in the programme, but to no avail. I don't know what could have caused it but the problem seems to have just emerged when booting up Windows today.
Could it be something on my OSX that's messing with it?
Thank you so much for any advice you can offer.

1. I see auto mode is enabled now. If you set manually 3000 RPM, it doesn't work, right?
2. Does it set another values under Mac?
3. Have you tried to reset SMC?

It's the same on OS X. And yeah I can set it to 6200 and nothing will change. It makes everything lag like crazy.
Any ideas? I'm trying to perform an SMC reset but so far not all that successfully.

So the SMC reset didn't help either

What do you mean under the 'lag' word?
