proper uninstall procedure for tracked install
Is the proper uninstall procedure for a program that was tracked when installed to first uninstall outside of the tool, then run the tool to cleanup?

Just proceed with uninstall, after running the default uninstaller, Uninstall Wizard will clean all the leftover traces.
If the default uninstaller fails, you can use Force Removal.

By 'proceed with uninstall' do you mean Windows 'Uninstall a Program' or Uninstall Tool Uninstall? It's this point that's the heart of the question.
