there's a workaround to resolve it or we must wait an update?

Re: MFC 1.3.1 crash on OS X 10.11.0
Now there is a little cosmetic bug with icon on menubar (OSX 10.11.0): it is not created in any case. I tried to change icon with MFC preferences without success. This problem is not present on OSX 10.9.5 but I don't know about OSX 10.10.x.

macs fan control 1.3.2.0
FYI
New version 1.3.2.0 as of 10/11/2015 the icon in the menu bar disappears in about 2 minutes in Lion 10.7.5
It will reappear if I double click on the application but disappears again.

Hi there. I had exactly this same problem (running 10.7.5), after upgrading from v1.3.0.
The solution (Remember to write down your previous preferences/settings before doing this!!!):
1) Delete the app from Application folder - Trash it!
2) Use a robust file mgmt utility (I use File Buddy), to locate all remnants of previous installation (like .plist files) - Trash 'em!
3) Re-download and install 1.3.2 again, input previous preferences (that you've written down) and you'll be as happy as Larry!
Hope this helps. Cheers!
