Feature Request: Collect readings with time

Post by hank »

collect numbers/times/settings to graph temperature trend

Give us a collection -- tab delimited text would be fine -- listing which sensor and fan speed-temperatures are selected and what the sensor readings are for a useful span of time, like 5 or 10 minutes.

I find (Mini, 2011) it's fairly easy to mistakenly pick a temperature range and sensor that actually keeps my Mac warmer than the automatic fan setting --- along with the fan being noisier. I suspect I'm just starting the fan speed change too low, but would like to actually see what's going on here.

Fan ... MinRPM . RPM.. ControlBy ... Sensors with temp-timestamp

A graph for temperature and fan speed in the style of activity monitor would be nice.

Sorry, guys. Not in the nearest future: we're currently busy with the all new website.
