The good news is that the software controls the fans very well. Software looks good, and is effective.
The bad news is that it cripples my PC.
The PC is the most recent MacBook Pro, 15-inch retina, 2.8 GHz Core i7, running OS X El Capitan.
I had the problem last year, and stopped using it. I was using 1.3.2.
As 95% of my work is running Windows under Parallels software, many of the main windows processes were using high cpu, so I thought it was a windows software problem, and related to other software installed at the same time.
I traced it to macs fans control, which seems to result in the mac process kernel_task going crazy, and using around 500% cpu instead of 3-5%.
Today I upgraded to 1.3.3, and thought I would try it again, as my fans were noisy.
As per last year it crippled my PC again, immediately.
Any help appreciated.
Brian

When you quit Macs Fan Control, kernel_task immediately goes to 3-5% ?

Re: Macs fan control cripples Macbook pro
Have same problem here with MBP retina 2014, 10.9.5. Kernel task not goes down after quitting MFC. Only after complete remove of app.
Re: Macs fan control cripples Macbook pro
It's not helps. MFC causes kernel task, because without MFC installed computer works normally, just wish that fans will be little bit slower. Anyway, thanks
