I just encountered an issue after cleaning dust out of my 2010 Mac Pro where the next time I booted the machine the intake fan did not start spinning on its own. Macs Fan Control did display 0 rpm when I opened its window, but it would be awesome to get a visible and audible alert if any of the fans it monitors is not spinning.
I got my fan issue fixed but I only knew of the issue because I manually opened Macs Fan Control's main window out of curiosity to see if my cleaning improved temperatures. An immediate pop-up alert, "Hey, your intake fan seems to be not spinning" would have been very nice. Also since this is a 2010 Mac Pro, I expect one or more fans will eventually stop spinning at all, so such an alert would be most helpful as a general warning of impending system death.
Thank you for this amazing product,
Don

Notifications are coming, thanks for the idea. Notification when a fan RPM is 0 definitely important
