Add more sensors to MFC (iMac11,3)

Post by JRobert »

A number of thermal sensors in my iMac aren't available as fan controls in Macs Fan Control including among others the Primary Heatsink and Secondary Heatsink. The "Secondary Heatsink" in particular is usually the first to show increasing CPU temperatures. Could at least the above two sensors be added? These are temperatures I have seen rise under load.

Feature suggestion: The ability to control each fan with one or more sensors.
F/ex, to increase the the CPU fan to keep both the secondary heatsink and the power supply under 60 degC.

27" iMac
Model Identifier: iMac11,3
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 4
