Detecting alot of "false positive" traces for Dragon Age

Hello,

I went ahead to uninstall Dragon Age: Origins. The uninstaller ran fine, but I notice that the traces that Uninstall Tool detected are far off from the actual program. For example, you can see in the image below that it traced the entire 'Common Files' folder, the Origin data folder, and some registry entries for unrelated games such as Diablo 3 and Battlefield 3

I'm looking for another uninstaller program, since my Total Uninstaller license is about to expire and renewing is quite expensive. I hope I can provide some more info to help alleviate this bug. AFAIK, this is the only program so far that had such wild false positives

Thank you. The game's size is rather big to download, moreover we don't know which setup did you use.
Could you please provide us with one of the following:

1. Registry entry if this program? Ctrl+R, then export.
2. A valid link to download exactly same game (for testing purpose) and reproduce this bad issue.

Thank you.

Here's the registry entry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{AEC81925-9C76-4707-84A9-40696C613ED3}]
"Publisher"="Electronic Arts, Inc."
"UninstallString"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\BioWare\\Uninstall Dragon Age.exe"
"DisplayName"="Dragon Age: Origins"
"DisplayVersion"="1.04"
"NoRepair"=dword:00000001
"NoModify"=dword:00000001
"DisplayIcon"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\BioWare\\Uninstall Dragon Age.exe,0"
"HelpLink"="E:\\Dragon Age\\docs\\EA Help\\Electronic_Arts_Technical_Support.htm"
"Readme"="E:\\Dragon Age\\docs\\Ultimate_ReadMe_en.txt"
"EstimatedSize"=dword:01835309
as for the actual game download....linking to it would be kinda illegal. Pirate Bay has it, but if you wanna do it legally, Gamersgate has a sale on it until Monday :D

Thank you very much! Fixed in 3.1.1.5236
Just press F5 in the program list to reload the cache.

The bad news is: it's impossible to detect the program's traces based on such information in Windows registry. I also can tell that this is probably the first time of such a nasty situation.
And we do recommend using Install Tracker to monitor ALL traces of installed programs (solves that case for 100%)

Hello,

I just did 2 reinstalls and uninstalls of Dragon Age.....said that no traces were found. In other words, looks like it's fixed :)

To keep my end of the bargain, I purchased a license :)
