Tried unsuccessfully this was the only product that worked for my problem

I had installed macs fan control successfully 5 days ago... now it sits in tray does not control fan speed and beachballs when I approach it. I uninstalled using mackeeper uninstall tool ..reloaded.. redownloaded and reinstalled. I have no other fan control software installed...reset smc...did a cmd...
