Macs Fan Control 1.1.10 - excessive wakeups

Macs Fan Control 1.1.10, MacBookPro5,5, Mac OS X 10.9

I might be mistaking but I feel that Macs Fan Control 1.1.10 sometimes crashes or does not wake up from sleep.

While digging for more information, I noticed the following message in logs:
20/04/14 21:58:17,000 kernel[0]: process MacsFanControl[1080] caught causing excessive wakeups. Observed wakeups rate (per sec): 364; Maximum permitted wakeups rate (per sec): 150; Observation period: 300 seconds; Task lifetime number of wakeups: 45076

Also, file has been generated at the same time: MacsFanControl_2014-04-20-215818_Mario-Mac.wakeups_resource.spin

If that's not enough for troubleshooting, please advise on how I can gather more data.

Can you try to reset SMC/NVRAM?
