I want my macbook to be quiet MOST of the time;
so I need Macs Fan Control to act differently; a new "automatic" mode where you can set a delay for from 1 to 500 seconds for the fans to and go to max RPM.
Right now I have the fast set to CPU diode at 90-95 degrees celsius; which means that they rotate at 2600 RPMs until the CPU reaches 90 degrees C. The problem currently is that you get the fans running at 2500RPMs (silent essentially); but spike to 6200RPM's for 2 seconds - 5 seconds ("really annoying") when the processor spikes in usage for 5 - 10 seconds.
So I want the CPU to throttle itself first and only after say 30 seconds (setting as per above) for the fans to kick in. This will allow my macbook to be silent 99% of the time.
If there is another way to do this already in Macs Fan Control; please let me know
(ps. I don't want the fans to ramp up; I want them to stay at 2500RPMs until the CPU has been at MAX temperature for X seconds, then kick into MAX RPM).
