I came across Macs Fan Control and so far the best Fan control application I have used to far. really useful so far, Thank you !
One thing that I cannot seem to find anywhere is a maximum fan setting ? That would make the app so much more useful to people like me who monitor their temperature in real time I know this can be dangerous but still with a proper warning implemented, why hasn't someone implemented it ? Is this something we can see in the future of this software ? Maybe even with a custom fan curve ?
All the best

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback.
- I'd like change my max fan speed from 6000 to 4000 RPM
- I see warning, but still change it.
- Minimize MFC window
- Eventually I start playing a 3D game for 5 hours and forgot to revert max fan speed
Result -> Melted CPU/GPU/Broken mac
It's dangerous. Really. MFC could be also able to switch the fan off

That's a good idea. Maybe it will be done with timeMaybe even with a custom fan curve ?

Re: Feature Request: Maximum Fan Speed and Custom Fan curves
One thing I would appreciate will be that MFC is reactive to power profile change. Well, it's probably a personal wanting. I'd like fan to run at around 3000RPM constantly when using AC while try to save more power(low fan speed) while using battery.Steven wrote:w4vz
