can only start manually

Post by ashtonplace »

Have had your OS fan control for a long time but now it will not start automatically.( O.S. 10.8.5) It keeps asking me to download an upgrade. The icon at top keeps disappearing - I need it showing to manually start the fan.Is there a prefs. file?

Maybe you have 2 versions of the app under /Applications?

Please post here the output of

Code: Select all

ls /Applications

There are no apps showing up in Application. What are the opening alpha letters. Nothing under "fan" nor "mac" The word "fan" would have been the best to make it easy to find.To get it running at startup I go into downloads and click and the fan starts
