I have uninstalled, restarted, redownloaded and reinstalled. The issue is still there.

Everything seems like it is going to work, and it installs correctly. Then the application launches and I see the icon in the system tray, but I cannot access to window. When I hover my mouse over the icon, it shows me a white window that has no details. I cannot see if it is running or change any of the settings.

This is a very new install of 8.1 without much else besides Steam.

It used to work and worked for about a week, then it just stopped working. Nothing new was installed in that time.

edit: It used to do nothing when I clicked the icon, now the icon disappears.

Please help!

Reboot and restart the app.

I have restarted and rebooted maybe 20 times.

I have uninstalled, wiped the folder, and reinstalled, rebooted and it still has issues.

It ran for about 2 weeks without an issue and now all the sudden it just won't work.

edit: I only really use this windows partition (which pushes the GPU well over 100 C if I dont start the fans at full power early on) so I dont have any screen cap software installed. Is there something free you can recommend?

Please try to remove this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CrystalIdea Software\Macs Fan Control

Could you please provide us with screenshot of the main window?
And technical info from Preferences/Diagnostics.

I had to clear the registry and re-install again. Seems to just go bad every week or so.

1. Is the display resolution 3840x2160 under Windows? 125% DPI settings?
