Nothing but trouble with the new version this morning, running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (more details in sig below).

The sensors displayed in previous versions, particularly the CPU Cores (I was using the Core 0 sensor with a custom range of temperatures), are not shown, and clicking on the Fan does nothing - I can't modify the settings for the fan at all.

Back to version 1.3.3 for me...

Can you please show the screenshot of version 1.3.3 ?

For some reason, buttons are not displayed I didn't change anything regarding them. Maybe some Fonts/Windows DPI settings related?..

PS. You can use CPU Diode instead of CPU core at the moment.

..., even if I quit MFC and re-start it; even if I reboot the computer - I can't access the fan setting.

Please re-download (build 252). CPU Core (#) sensors must be also there

With build 252, the sensors appear once again, but I still cannot access the Fan Control.

While you've got the hood open...,

In the installation process, shouldn't the user be the one to check the check-box for the User and Distribution License? With Build 252, it's already checked. I know I'm an agreeable sort, but um....

I'm guessing that choosing the CPU PECI would be the most logical choice for someone wishing to control the fan with the overall CPU activity - would that be correct?

Thank you for the feedback and help in locating the bug.

Not sure really about the sensor: there're so many of them for a small chip. I'm thinking of making some virtual sensor for fan control called CPU Average and/or CPU Max

Sounds like a good idea, although (from my admittedly brief research into the topic) isn't that just what the CPU PECI does? Provide numerical output of the various sensors in the CPU, all in one bite-sized package?
