Hi,

Since the last update of MacOS X from official 10.11.5 to 10.11.6 Beta the fan of my iMac runs up to full speed for a minute, then it settles down to the default speed of Macs Fan Control. Could it not be that the starting sequence has just been changed by Apple..?

I seriously doubt that something could change. OS X doesn't control fans, SMC firmware does that.
