Update will not install

I'm on Macs Fan Control v. 1.4.1.0 on an iMac running OSX v10.12.2 (current). Every time I start up my machine, Software Update tries to install an update of Macs Fan Control, but the update will not install. Any suggestions?

Please download and install (orverwrite) the update manually:

It's now officially in 1.4.7

When I use the drop down menu to "Check for Updates" then click to install, I get a window that says, "error extracting the update." So, I'm stuck on v. 1.4.1
