hello,
is there a way to disable the check for update on macs fan control startup?

using it under windows (bootcamp) we start it as a service, but when a new version is available it does not start (it start but wait forever on the update windows which is not shown if run as service)

(it would also be great to have the installer configuring the service automatically)

the devs know about this for years and yet it still hasn't been fixed. my guess is they refuse to fix it because nagging for updates is basically advertising (assuming it opens a webpage if you choose to update, which i never tried, i uninstalled the program after getting fed up with the nagging).
