Macs Fan Control not working in macOS 10.13 High Sierra (APFS)

As the developer preview dropped yesterday, I would like to inform you that Apple offers to convert the current filesystem (HFS+) to APFS while upgrading to High Sierra and that option is enabled by default. As Macs Fan Control doesn't know APFS it starts in read-only mode. I believe this is a fairly easy fix. Reading the temperatures works just fine. The program will most probably work if the APFS option is unchecked while installing High Sierra.
