I recently purchased Uninstall - portable version. I did it this way because I have 3 laptops and one desktop that I would like to be able to keep track of.

I received the email with the zip file and key code. As I thought about the jump drive, I realized I didn't really know how to use the "portable" edition. Do I unzip it to a jump drive and run it after plugging it into a pc, and then look for executable file? Or do I copy zip file to various pcs and unzip on the pc and use it as a normal install? If I run it off an unzipped version on the jump drive, where does it store the trace records or uninstall database?

You'd never know I really am quite comfortable working with PC's.

Yes

For portable version: registration data should be saved to the text file "license.dat" which should be placed into the program folder. The data should be of the following format:
The first line - registration name
The second line - registration code
Example:
John Smith
KGT4-YGRT-GHTR-7G31
