First of all thank you so much for creating this excellent app. It is working flawlessly on my iMac after SSD upgrade!

Got a few questions regarding SMC reading. How often do the daemon poll the SMC? Is there a way to adjust (reduce) the frequency in order to conserve CPU resources? Will frequent reading from the SMC prevent the Mac going to sleep?

When the app is minimized, CPU consumption should be very low, you can check it in System Monitor
