Updating could be better

When the program launches a new version (what occurs very often), the program keep sending a message on boot to update it. When on OSX, I think it is the only program I have that isn't integrated with app store updates. I use the program in both OSX and Windows bootcamp. It is very boring update both almost every week. I think it coud be implemented on the program the update at least, just by clicking update, instead of visiting the page, downloading it again and installing over.

First to say, awesome program, saved me a lot of troubles. You could add a donate button via paypal on the MFC site.
To the suggestion, could you add a "do not check for new versions" button, as its confusing why to update a program that works like a charm..
Thanks!

I use it on my iMac which does not have internet connection. Yet the program able to know it is out-dated after use it for some time, brilliant!!!
Seriously, please don't force user to keep updating the program which is unnecessary and annoying. STOP hard-coding EXPIRY DATE inside the program!!! Yes it still work after expired, but it keep annoy people with a pop-up message of 10 seconds wait during boot-up!!!
It is getting on my nerve enough that i might write my own alternative.

We think it's important to emphatically ask a user to update to the latest version of a system app like MFC, sorry about your inconvenience.
