By the way, when I was running 1.47, it kept nagging me to upgrade (even though I turned all that off) and wouldn't automatically run.

I installed 1.48 and 1.48.1 (got the same behavior) on my iMac 14,2. It initially works, then after a reboot or two, the app icon changes to a generic document and the app won't run at all. Restoring to 1.47 and all is well. Any ideas?

When I start up my Mac using OSX the minimum fan speed is normally 1500 rpm. Unless it was previously booted as a PC (running Windows version of the your software), then it can be 2000 rpm or 1700 rpm. Attached file has "copy technical info" from 1500, 1700, 2000 rpm results taken directly...
