Don't know if this is a Mac problem or a Fan Control problem, but I'm seeing it a lot:

hank wrote::Bravo: Yes, the wakeups appeared in Console while MacsFanControl was minimized to the top bar on the screen.

It's not just MFC though.

Last night, I completely reinstalled OSX and the Combo update; didn't fix the problems.

A different wakeup, just to show it's other things too:
7/31/14 11:00:17.000 AM kernel[0]: process WindowServer[539] caught causing excessive wakeups. Observed wakeups rate (per sec): 189; Maximum permitted wakeups rate (per sec): 150; Observation period: 300 seconds; Task lifetime number of wakeups: 214668
7/31/14 11:00:19.741 AM spindump[1948]: Saved wakeups_resource.spin report for WindowServer version ??? (???) to /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/WindowServer_2014-07-31-110019_2011-mini.wakeups_resource.spin
