Sorry for the missed opportunity ! At least we have a fast solution but... a agree with you, pinpointing the troublemaker would have been greatly usefull !

About your link, it deals mostly about tracing an installation after a reboot ! It's a great thing to ponder about but my concern pertains mostly about an uninstallation where the "forces suppression" feature is lost after a reboot ! This feature should remain in the... 'log", as long as it has not been completed, or/and a confirmation button stating that the program entry can be deleted have been pressed ! So, the challenge is to keep the entry alive as long as the "Forced suppression" has not been executed !
